·         Games Software: Microsoft Office, proficient with Unity’s Fungus plug in and setting basic scenes up, limited understanding of Python and Unreal engine, 3ds Max and Blender.

. Narrative Design: Worked on multiple personal and university projects that range in length from short stories to long form narratives to multi ending narratives

·         Communication and Teamwork: Have been a part of multiple sports teams that have given me an understanding of the importance of how teamwork and communication skills are some of the most useful skills that a person can have.

·         Organisational Skills: Good at time management, meeting deadlines, working in a team environment, proficient in Miro and Jira.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS

2022-present                     University of Chichester - BA (Hons) Games Design and Development

Projects:

·         Stories in Ruin: This was a module on games analysis through multiple lens and I chose to analyse a game’s narrative experience through some narrative lenes, this is what lead to me writing the ‘Stories in Ruin’ analysis piece on the Division 2.

. Restorers of LOGIC - A narrative pitch: This module was a joint one with screenwriters and taught the basic underpinnings of narrative design and the types of stories most commonly found in games and also how to present a new narrative idea to a company for it to potentially be made.

. Restorers of LOGIC - A narrative experience: This was another joint module with screenwriting, and taught the use of the Unity plug in fungus to create interactive narrative experiences in Unity, this is also where I learnt the prevailing narrative design documentation methods. And is where some of the planning documents come from.

. Placeholder: This is the Final Major Project that I created at university, and this is a culmination of all the narrative learning that I have done during my time at university, and this is the project called Placeholder and is another interactive experience that makes use of player agency to guide the narrative down different paths.

·         I was a part of the Volleyball Varsity team at the end of my second year, as well as a part of the committee as treasurer and equipment manager through my 2nd and 3rd years. Worked on a group project in 2nd year.

NARRATIVE PROJECTS

09/2024 - 05/2025                         Placeholder     University of Chichester

This started out as my Final Major Project for University and is a short interactive narrative experience that takes place in an alternate version of earth, the narrative is heavily influenced by how players decide to deal with the choices presented to them. This narrative takes place in an area that has been struck by part of an asteroid and the area has become dangerous with monsters and anomalies populating the area around the strike zone, and the player enters this area to find alien debris to sell but is forced to work for the government after they are caught.

2022 - Present Restorers of LOGIC Personal Project

My long time writing project which is a story about powered up humans fighting for their freedom in a world devastated by a viral outbreak. And a group of survivors that are fighting against the current military government that want to use a system that was developed to keep people safe to make the population of the nation into a larger military power to expand their sphere of influence. The fight isn’t just about the people but how the world ends up rebuilding it’s self after 90% of the population is wiped out.
